Is Multi-level Marketing For You?
Are you getting sick of the day job you have? Does telling your boss to just forget it give you a little thrill? Do you often dream of being your own boss and only working for yourself? Pitfalls and tips….
It is not for everyone, but there are tips and pit-falls that you need to think about. My first tip is “Don’t quit your day job too quickly!” You will need the financial cushion of your day job so you can take the time to learn and grow your MLM.
Keep the momentum going on a daily basis. It can be easy to let days go by without taking real action, but in order to find real MLM success, you have to be constantly moving. Set daily goals to move forward with your MLM strategies. You don’t have to slave over the computer for ten hours a day, but you need to do a little something. Even a bit of social interaction may be sufficient some days.
Don’t constantly bombard those you know with marketing content. While you love what you are doing, you need to restrict your communication with your loved ones. Prevent your own motivation from disrupting personal relationships. You will want to offer them opportunities; however, you do not want to overwhelm them. If you fail on this count you will join the NFL Club [No Friends Left Club] as all your friends are avoiding you!
Listen to as much advice as you can. The main component to a successful MLM is business that everyone involved helps each other. This means that one persons success can lead to the greater things for everyone. This means that you can rely on the others in your quest for success. When they help you then they can be helping themselves too.
Always personally test products before you endorse them. This will help you to avoid selling anything this is not of the best quality. If this happens, find something else to sell. No matter what that company pays you, marketing poor products puts your reputation and career at stake.
Be careful about not falling into a pyramid scheme. There are plenty of MLM companies that have a very strong history and reputation, but there are also some that don’t. Pyramid schemes do exist. They can seem quite enticing with their appealing upfront offers, however they usually will mean large losses.
